ESL Classes
Welcome to join our ESL Classes this summer! Whether you’re an new immigrant looking to improve your English or just love learning languages, our classes are for you. They’re free, and you only need to purchase your own textbook. When you sign up, tell us if you prefer in-person or online classes—we’ll try our best to accommodate, but please note that the format may depend on the number of students enrolled. Each ESL class requires at least 5 registrations to run. Let’s learn together!”

Digital Classes
The global digital age is here, and with constantly evolving smart devices like smartphones and tablets, there’s a lot to explore. The Dallas Chinese Community Center will be offering ‘Introduction to Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, and Android Smartphone’ course starting in June. Beginners or those interested in learning more about technology are welcome to enroll. The courses will last only two weeks, providing hands-on guidance to quickly learn how to operate and use common functions of smartphones and tablets. These are in-person classes and held at the DCCC computer room. Each digital class requires at least 6 registrations to run.

(A) Apple iPhone (Registration fee is due before June 8th)

  • Dates: June 15, 2024, and June 22, 2024
  • Time: Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Classes: 2 sessions
  • Total Hours: 4

(B) Apple iPad (Registration fee is due before June 22nd)

  • Dates: June 29, 2024, and July 6, 2024
  • Time: Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Classes: 2 sessions
  • Total Hours: 4

(C) Android Smartphone (Registration fee is due before July 6th)

  • Dates: July 13, 2024, and July 20, 2024
  • Time: Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Classes: 2 sessions
  • Total Hours: 4

Required Materials:

  • Bring your cell phone or tablet, charger cable, and power bank to class.

Registration Details:

  • Fees: Person at $20

  • Note: Please indicate class A/B/C + your name with the payment.
  • Deadline: Registration fee due before the deadline of each class.
