The second annual Dallas Got Talent competition was exciting. The performances were brilliant. The activity center invited judges Nancy Kang, Ying Lu, Eddie Pan, Dr. Enric Madriguera, and Karl Ho.華人活動中心第二屆達人秀 Dallas Got Talent” 精彩不斷！！
由達拉斯華人活動中心舉辦的第二屆達人秀 ”Dallas Got Talent” 初賽已於上週六（8/18/11）下午圓滿完成。表演節目個個精采，高潮不斷。活動中心特邀中心執行理事及節目總指揮康碧娥 Nancy Kang、中心秘書長許祖瑛 Ying Lu、中心理事潘哲蒲Eddie Pan、UT Dallas 德州大學音樂學院教授也是著名音樂家 Enric Madriguera 與UTDallas 德州大學教授Karl Ho 為堅強的裁判陣容及中心理事朱恬恬JessicaChu 精心策劃舉辦了這場達拉斯第二屆的達人秀 “Dallas Got Talent ”；節目內容超出預期，十分成功。
The participants included dancer Joanne Nguyen, acapella singer Kailyn Fires, comedic magician Tarek Zawi, acoustic & instrumental group iCare, Jaewon Ahn, Chinese Yo Yo Lawrence Yen, singer and piano player Esther Burnett, traditional Indian dancer Ashwini Ganesh, and hip hop dance group Minority Brothers Crew. The judges decided to elect Tarek Zawi, ICare, Jaewon Ahn, Lawrence Yen, Ashwini Ganesh, and Minority Brothers Crew into the finals. On September 8 at the Dallas Chinese Community Center’s Fundraising Gala, the six will fight it out to see who is crowned the champion of the 2nd Dallas Got Talent competition.

首先由青春洋溢的Joanne Nguyen表演熱舞掀開序幕，接著由可愛的小妹妹Kailyn Fires表演國語歌曲。參賽者Tarek Zawi魔術更是精采，會場觀眾笑聲連連，掌聲不斷。
三人團體iCare用鋼琴，吉他與動人的嗓音演唱兩首歌曲，Jaewon Ahn以一把名貴Cello帶來令人如痴如醉的音樂秀，接著由Lawrence Yen 表演武藝高超扯鈴功夫。Esther Burnett表演鋼琴演奏同時演唱動人心弦的國語歌曲，可愛的印度小妹妹Ashwini Ganesh用純熟精湛的舞蹈帶來達拉斯難得一見的印度傳統舞蹈；最後由舞技純熟熱力四射的舞蹈團體Minority Brothers Crew展現Hip Hop Dancing也讓整個預賽在歡笑聲中結束。
最後並選出Tarek Zawi，三人團體 “iCare“，Jaewon Ahn，Lawrence Yen， Ashwini Ganesh 和舞蹈團體 “Minority Brothers Crew” 六位進入總決賽，屆時將在09/08 的大賽中爭取前三名的寶座。錯過這次精彩達人比賽節目的朋友千萬別再錯過09/08 的大賽；當晚也是華人活動中心年度的募款餐會，會中將有卡拉OK大賽前六位的總決賽和兒童歌唱比賽冠軍表演等更多節目，歡迎達拉斯的朋友們踴躍參加一起度過歡樂的夜晚。
