The Dallas Chinese Community Center (DCCC) invites you to join our upcoming Breast & Cervical Cancer Prevention Seminar, presented by Marie Chen, RN.
Early detection and regular screening play an important role in women’s health. This seminar will provide practical information about breast and cervical cancer risk factors, prevention, screening, and early detection. Participants will also learn about common gynecologic conditions and available community health resources.
Seminar Topics Include:
- Breast cancer symptoms and risk factors
- Breast density and cancer risk
- Mammograms and early detection
- Cervical cancer risk factors and prevention
- Pap tests and early detection
- HPV vaccination and safer sex
- Common gynecologic conditions, including fibroids
Information on how to apply for free mammograms and Pap tests will also be available at the event.
