The Dallas Chinese Community Center will hold its annual Chinese Cultural Festival on April 21 (Saturday) from 10 am to 3 pm outdoor at the Richardson China Town located at 400 N. Greenville Ave. in Richardson Texas. The Festival will showcase various Chinese regional food, as well as booths of gifts and crafts. Karaoke music will be provided for entertainment. There will be games and activities for the children and the whole family, and an excellent opportunity for Mother’s Day gift shopping.
In the mean time the Sino-US Cultural Exchange Association and the Dallas Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association will jointly organize a Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition indoor at the Center. Artists will demonstrate Chinese brush painting and calligraphy. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness the masters at work. An exhibit of their art work and their students’ will be held at the Center. Everyone is welcome to attend. City of Richardson is a long time supporter of the Chinese art program of the DCCC.
Individuals, business and organizations are welcome to participate in the Cultural Festival. The registration and booth rental fees are: individuals and organizations, $ 20 per booth, $ 35 for two booths, $ 45 for three booths; business, $ 50 per booth, and $ 90 for two. 10% to 20% of the gross sales proceeds will be donated to the event organizer, Dallas Chinese Community Center for its operating costs.
