Free Nutrition and Wellness Courses (2nd Session), Sat 1:30-3:30pm

Nutrition and Exercise are important factors to keep us healthy. The DCCC and AACCS will host Nutrition and Wellness courses, which include the Basic of Nutrition, Food Detective, Portion Control, Food Safety, Recipe Makeover and Cancer Prevention. The courses will be taught by licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, Chunyun Xiao and Oncologist, Zhiyong Li.

After the courses, we also arrange activities to enhance our body’s strength. Norma Yang will teach us on Tai Chi Chuan. She has been learning/practicing Tai Chi for over 12 years and took her lessons from Mr. Chungking Tu. She is currently a Tai Chi instructor at DCCC and IBPS Dallas, teaching Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Fan, Tai Chi Sword and Tai Chi Knife.

There are 6 courses in this program, and it starts from 9/21/2019 to 10/26/2019 on Saturdays 1:30-3:30pm. The dates and the nutrition courses are as follows:

09/28 Food Detective
10/05 Portion Control
10/12 Food Safety
10/19 Recipe Makeover and Achieving a Balance
10/26 Cancer Prevention and Screening

All ages and genders are welcome to participate in the courses to learn about nutrition and exercise to improve the health of the whole family. Seats are limited, so please contact us for registration as soon as possible.
