2014 Connecting Communities Banquet

We would like to cordially invite you to join us at the Twelfth Annual Dallas Chinese Community Center “Connecting Communities” Banquet on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Renaissance Hotel in the City of Richardson. This is an annual event in which DCCC invites supporters, community members, and volunteers, both new and old, to come and enjoy an evening of exciting entertainment and an excellent meal. More than 500 distinguished guests from local communities as well as corporate executives will attend this event. The evening program will feature a cultural fashion show, the karaoke finals, our DCCC award presentation and more.

We named this year’s theme as “Connecting Communities”. We believe this theme embraces the core of DCCC’s objective. Since the establishment of DCCC, a non-profit organization, it has acted as the central information center for those who seek information about activities involving the Chinese American community. It opens seven days a week and has a full schedule consisting of a wide variety of cultural, educational, and recreational activities, including classes of ESL and Chinese, Chinese painting and calligraphy, Tai-Chi, ballroom dance, line dance, folk dance and table tennis. As time passed and DCCC grew and matured, it has become more than just a place where people come for information. DCCC has become the place where people gather to socialize, to exchange ideas, to be educated, to share our cultural experiences and differences, and much more. In essence, DCCC has become the central role in connecting the communities we live, work and play.
