The Dallas Chinese Community Center Spring Painting Class starts on Feb. 29, 2012 from 1:00 pm thru 3:00 pm. This class teaches the traditional Chinese brush painting by using Ink-and-Water, as well as Blue-and –Green landscape brushwork. The ink-and wash landscape relied on vivid brushwork and varying degrees of intensity of ink to express the artist’s conception of nature, and his or her own emotions and individuality. Other artists have often mixed colors to obtain more natural and richly varied subjects, such as plum blossoms, orchids, bamboo, chrysanthemums, pines and cypresses. The painting process is full of fun and enjoyment. Please contact DCCC for the class at 972-480-0311 or Ms. Lin Yi-Wen at 972-918-0838 if you are interested.
