This is a good overview for those who have concerns about memory loss or have had a diagnosis of dementia, as well as for those who want information about Alzheimer’s disease. Learn about the Alzheimer’s disease process, and the programs offered by the Greater Dallas Chapter for both the person with Alzheimer’s and the caregiver.

DCCC will have the 2nd audition for models for our Children Cheongsam fashion show at 10:30am on August 13, Saturday. Children ages 3 – 10 are welcome to register. After the audition and training sessions, the children will be part of the fashion show during our Annual Fund Raising Gala on September 11 at the Renaissance Hotel. Show off your singing talents at our 14th annual Karaoke Competition! We have raised the 1st place prize to $1,000 (thanks to a generous sponsor). Preliminaries and semifinals will take place on August 27, and finals will take place on the stage at our annual gala on September 11 at Renaissance Hotel in Richardson. Registration is open now and ends 8/21.
On August 20 (10:30am), DCCC will host Dallas Got Talent, a talent show competition. If you or a group of your friends have a talent, whether it be dancing, musical instrument, chinese yo-yo, comedy, magic, singing, etc., come showcase it on August 20. If you are interested in competing in the event, registration fee is $25.
The competition will be held on August 20, where the judges will decide on the three most talented acts. You can win amazing cash prizes ($500** for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place, $100 for 3rd place).
**The 1st place prize will be increased to $1000 (thank you to a generous donor) if there are more than 15 registered acts (individual or group).
