10/22 Fundraising Banquet

Annual fundraising banquet is the biggest event DCCC has held each year for the last ten years. It is also the most important source of income for the Dallas Chinese Community Center. The net income from the fundraising pays for the operating expense. DCCC is an IRS registered 501(C)(3) organization. A volunteer board of directors is responsible for the revenue and operation decisions. Its funding sources come from donations of community members, operating income, grants, and fundraising banquet.

Every year the Board has to consider the best venue to raise funds. This year the board has decided to take a different approach. Instead of holding the banquet in the traditional hotel ballroom, it will be a giant outdoor tent banquet in the China Town in Richardson. The newly remodeled China Town not only provides a perfect backdrop to the party, it will also bring nostalgia of Taiwan in the old days when outdoor banquet was still very common.

The evening program is something DCCC does best. This year is even better. The winners of talent show and winners of Karaoke competition will perform to compete. Audience will be given the opportunity to be the judge to decide who will be the winner of the title of “The Star of Dallas Chinese”.

Sponsorship of the banquet can be at the following levels. Platinum table (10 seats) is $5,000. Gold table is $2,000, Silver table is $1,200 and community table is $600. Individual sponsorship from $60 to $500 or more is welcome. Due to the limited space, the number of tables is also limited. Early registration will ensure you a good seat at the front row.
